Amy received her Bachelor's degree in Economics from VA Tech. She then became ill in her mid twenties, suffering from constant headaches, chronic fatigue and digestive issues that all took a toll on her health and happiness. Amy was able to heal herself of these ailments naturally through dietary and lifestyle changes. Through this process, Amy developed a vast amount of knowledge and a true passion for natural health.  She soon realized that many others are suffering just like she had and she decided then to receive formal training and become a Holistic Health Counselor.

Amy received her training to practice Health Counseling at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City. She is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
